Course Outcomes

Key Industrial Catalytic Processes

Students will learn about key industrial catalytic processes in the production of chemicals, refining of petroleum, and control of the environment.

Process Chemistry

Students will learn the key aspects of the process chemistry, kinetics, mechanisms, catalyst deactivation, reactor design and process design of 13 globally-significant catalytic processes.

Catalysis Principles

Students will apply principles of catalysis to derivation of rate expressions and reactor design calculations for a few processes.
