Informed Awareness of Latin American Geography
To acquire informed awareness of Middle and South America with the interplay of cultures, languages, and/or nations at an international level for both its physical and cultural components.

To gain a working knowledge of the connection of the underlying physical "stage" of Latin America to the distributions of people and their activities. - Cultural Geography
To gain an understanding of the geographic structure of Latin America's cultural components including languages, ethnic groups, settlement patterns, and religious beliefs.
