Research Literature

Students will be able to analyze and interpret primary source documents.

Historical Knowledge of Mayas, Aztecs and Incas

Students will be able to explain and analyze the political, economic, social, religious, and cultural structures of the Mayas, Aztecs, and Incas, how they were transformed by the Spanish conquest, and how they developed in reaction to European colonialism.

Analytical Writing

Students will gain experience in historical research and improve writing skills.

Critical Analysis

Students will analyze historical questions and place them in historiographical context.
