Printmaking Concepts, Theories, and History
Students will demonstrate an understanding of the basic concepts, theories, and history of intaglio, relief, screen, and lithographic printmaking.
Printmaking Techniques and Process
Students will demonstrate an understanding of the basic techniques and processes of intaglio, relief, screen, and lithographic printmaking as introduced in class.
Application of Skills and Techniques
Students will appropriately apply basic printmaking skills and techniques as introduced in class to make intaglio, relief, screen, and lithographic prints.
Print Evaluation
Students will be able to evaluate prints based on professional criteria and standards introduced in class.
Aesthetic Awareness and Sensibilities
Students will demonstrate increased aesthetic awareness and sensibilities, particularly as they relate to printmaking, and successfully apply these in their art making.
