Course Outcomes

Participation Objective 1

Students will learn and achieve technical and stylistic mastery of several variations from classical ballets.

Participation Objective 2

Students will learn and record the background, libretto, and style of the specific ballets through brief lectures.

Writing Objective 1

Students will compile a notebook with the background, libretto, and details of each variation which will aid in the future instructing of these variations. The student will include specifics on choreographers, composers, and dancers where applicable; as well as all steps of each variation written in a clear, understandable form.

Technique Objective 1

Students will learn each variation and be required to perform throughout the semester.

Technique Objective 2

Students will prepare variations to perform and be graded on those technical and stylistic requirements.
