Course Outcomes
Ukrainian Movement and Choreography
Students will learn stylistic movement combinations, footwork, arm placement and choreography from the regions Poltava, Hutsul, Bukovynia and Volyn.
Warm-up Preparation
Students will learn a warm-up combination designed to prepare and train the body for Ukrainian dance.
Ukrainian Cultural and Historical Facts
Students will learn information about cultural traditions, ritual beliefs and historical facts Ukraine which influence the movement and stylistic characteristics.
Ukrainian Dance Vocabulary
Students will learn basic Ukrainian dance vocabulary.
