Teacher Work Sample

Students will complete a Teacher Work Sample documenting their ability to understand a teaching situation and their individual students in one specific class, and their ability to plan, teach, reflect on and revise music learning events to teach a learning unit to this class. They will document group and individual progress for the unit.

Effective Planning, Teaching and Revising

Students will demonstrate their ability to effectively plan, teach, reflect and revise music learning events by teaching full-time in a student teaching placement with a mentor teacher. In addition, students will demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively with individual students and groups of students, as well as parents, as well as the ability to work well with their mentor teacher and other school colleagues.
