Understand expressions of human experience in literature
Students will demonstrate their understanding of human aspects in works of modern Japanese literature orally and in writing. A writing sample will be included in the individual student portfolio.
Understand key works and genres in modern literature
Students will demonstrate their ability to analyze key works and genres in modern Japanese literature in oral and written form.
