Course Outcomes

State of the Research

Students will acquire a state-of-the research knowledge of an artist, art movement or related movements, genre, thematic topic, culture, theory or practice from the designated period of the seminar (18th and 19th centuries).

Original Research

Students will develop their own original research project related to the umbrella topic of the seminar.

Presentation

Students will demonstrate the ability to analyze works of art, formulate thesis statements, organize and present their research in both an oral presentation and a written paper.
