Curriculum Planning

Create a semester outline, unit maps, and lesson plans for a secondary school health education course based upon National School Health Education Standards and the Utah State Office of Education Core Curriculum.

Effective Practices

Know and demonstrate effective characteristics of health education.


Demonstrate professionalism in conduct, character, collaboration, and attitude.


Qualify for student teaching field experience by completing a practicum and Teacher Work Sample, passing the Praxis exam, and successfully completing a student teaching application.
