Course Outcomes

Plant physiology fundamentals

1) Advanced Topics in Plant Metabolism, 2) Developmental Plant Metabolism, and 3) Advance Topics in Crop Physiology.

Scientifc method

Students will learn to apply the scientific method in order to become more proficient and independent learners

Plant-environment interactions

Students will be able to conceptualize the physiological mechanisms by which plants sense and respond to their environment and how that impacts ecological systems.

Communication

Students will participate in learning exercises that teaches them how to gather, interpret and communicate scientific information.

Instrumentation

Students will be exposed to the instrumentation and techniques commonly used to gather data in the field of plant physiological ecology.
