Childbearing Families

Demonstrate an understanding of the nursing knowledge necessary to provide care to diverse childbearing families as evidenced by successfully passing tests and assignments.

Nursing Assessment

Utilize principles essential to performing assessment and management of normal antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients evidenced by successfully passing tests and lab simulations.

Communication and Collaboration

Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal communication and collaboration used when communicating with families, peers and faculty in varied settings as demonstrated by student presentations, faculty interactions and professional classroom behavior.

Scholarly Knowledge

Demonstrate retrieval, application and evaluation of scholarly knowledge related to practice issues in the care of childbearing families as evidenced by classroom discussions, presentations, and successfully passing tests.
