Program Requirements

No more than 3 hours of credit below C- is allowed in major courses.
Students must pass Exam P of the Society of Actuaries (SOA) jointly administered as Exam 1 by the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) before declaring an actuarial science major.

Graduates will prepare for, take, and pass the Society of Actuary exams required for employment in the actuarial science profession

Graduates of the program will apply statistical methods using relavent software to solve real world problems

Graduates of the program will write technical reports and make technical presentations containing statistical and actuarial results.
