Teaching Social Studies in Early Childhood Classrooms (Pre K-3)
This course will prepare teaching candidates (1) with methods, skills and strategies for teaching social studies to children in grades Pre K-3, (2) to model democratic teaching practices, and (3) to establish democratic classrooms as they prepare children to assume roles as participatory citizens in a democracy.
