Course Outcomes


Students should:

  • Understand and apply principles of good design intent to develop robust modeled geometry.
  • Understand both solid and surface modeling principles and how of effectively apply them.


Students should be able to:

  • Use Solidworks and Photoview 360 effectively to develop and communicate ideas.
  • Apply solid modeling to develop 3D parts with: Machining and rapid prototyping.
