Archaeology in Mesopotamia, Syria, Palestine, & Egypt

Students will gain an introductory level understanding of the archaeology, history, and ancient cultural contexts of the major ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Syria, Palestine, and Egypt through readings, research assignments, and discussion.

Critical Thinking, Research, Analysis, and Writing

Students will increase their skill sets with regard to critical thinking, research, analysis of data, and writing through multiple types of course assignments including a final research paper project.
