Course Outcomes

Historical knowledge of the Age of Revolution

Students will obtain historical knowledge of the Age of Revolution in general, and of Latin American revolutions in particular.

Reading primary and secondary sources

Students will be able to read and understand both primary and secondary historical sources, and how those sources have been used in Age of Revolution historiography, and to be able to express that understanding in writing.

Effective historical research

Students will further develop their ability to write clearly, persuasively, and logically, using primary and secondary sources found in the library and elsewhere.
