Neuroscience Laboratory Theory & Technique

Students will demonstrate an understanding of and an ability to perform and apply hands-on laboratory techniques to study nervous system histology, anatomy, electrophysiology, pathology, and behavior. Important topics covered include microscopy, tissue staining, neurohistology, neuroanatomy, electrophysiology, autonomic function, neuron modeling (matlab programming), and neuroimaging.

Write a Scientific Laboratory Report

Understand fundamentals of statistical analysis (including proper techniques, applications, and interpretations) and produce a well-written scientific report.
