Printing Processes

Students will be able to carry out fundamental processes used in letterpress printing while producing printed projects in the studio.

Press Production and Operation

Students will be able to learn the fundamentals of operating flatbed proofing presses, clamshell presses, and creating photopolymer plates.

Handset Type

Students will be able to proficiently implement the historical art of setting and using cold metal type in letterpress work.
