Course Outcomes

235B Choral Conducting

Students will demonstrate in their own conducting an understanding of and proficiency with the following techniques: beat patterns, style (legato/marcato), the conducting field, breath releases, melding, the SuperClick, subdivision of beats, fermatas, dynamics, cuing, phrase shaping, irregular meters, and multi metrics.
