Course Outcomes

Displaying knowledge of features of the Japanese language

Students will demonstrate both orally and in writing their knowledge of and ability to use appropriately essential features of the Japanese language, including parts of speech, modification, vector verbs, and honorifics.

Demonstrating ability to communicate in Japanese

Students will demonstrate, through regular writing assignments and oral presentations, their ability to write and speak Japanese with accuracy and to do contrastive analysis of Japanese and English.
