Common Vocabulary

Students will increase their ability to understand vocabulary commonly used in newspapers

Reading News Articles

Students will be able to read a range of types of news articles (politics, business, human interest, sports, etc.)

Compare and Contrast News Reports

Students will be able to compare and contrast print and television news reports. A written sample will be included in the individual student portfolio. The student portfolio will be formally reviewed at the conclusion of this course.
