Experience in the Field
Internships will provide students experience and training in the art world (museum, gallery, art organization, auction house, library/archive, etc.). Students are expected to complete at least 140 hours of employment.
Student will deliver biweekly reflections to the internship coordinator, in which they record hours of employment, report their activities, and reflect on their experience according to prearranged prompts.
At the end of their internship students are also required to submit a final report of their internship to the coordinator, detailing their experience, skills acquired, advice for future interns, and the challenges they encountered and overcame.
Off Campus Experience
Completed internships fulfill the Art History "Off-Campus Requirement" (ARTHC 496R) required for graduation.
