Contemporary Critical Theory and Interpretation

Develop understanding of contemporary theories of interpretation in the humanities that relate to questions of gender, class, and race or ethnicity

Improve the ability to discern meaning and importance in cultural artifacts through close reading analysis

Research and Argumentation

Improve library research and persuasive argumentation skills through focused writing exercises
