Transnational/Transatlantic Literature from 1800-1900

Period-specific courses using transnational models for literary analysis. Read selected texts in a transatlantic context and in the light of applicable theoretical approaches. Identify and locate appropriate research sources for the study of transatlantic literatures. Incorporate these sources into a research paper and other possible assignments. Produce polished writing free from distracting errors and in accordance with MLA formatting and citation guidelines.
