Students will recognize important cultural, political, and religious figures, events, and movements in Italy from the Etruscan period to the Counter-Reformation by creating a timeline and taking two written exams.

Conduct research on an Italian cultural phenomenon of significant impact by locating and evaluating peer-reviewed sources.

Communicate effectively in Italian both orally and in writing by creating and presenting an imaginary museum exhibit catalog which traces a cultural phenomenon across a span of Italian history.
