Course Outcomes

Course Project

Students will be able to demonstrate how a variety of linguistic concepts, authoritative sources, and methodologies they have previously learned about in other courses may be effectively applied in a focused course project in which the students participate.

Identifying Linguistic Assumptions

Students will be able to identify some of the linguistic assumptions that underlie the approaches and methods they might use in completing the project.

Substantial Paper

By the end of the course, students will have written a substantial paper that describes, explains, and justifies the work they have done and the approach they have used in their project.
