Course Outcomes

Microbial Physiology

Students will demonstrate an advanced understanding of selected topics in microbial physiology (cell structure, growth, biosynthesis, transport, etc.) through their participation in classroom discussions, writing assignments and oral presentations.

Critical Thinking, Research, and Reporting

Students will demonstrate the ability to read, comprehend and communicate current research in microbial physiology by making Powerpoint presentations to the class.

Scientific Review

Students will write a scientific review article on a topic of their choice related to microbial physiology.
