1. Describe various community nutrition programs, government health care programs, and policies aimed to enhance the nutritional status and overall health of individuals in the US population.
Grant Proposal
2. Effectively write a grant proposal that encompasses the basic elements of implementing community nutrition programs, including a needs assessment, program planning, implementation and evaluation, and budget preparation, and conduct the proposed project in a real-life community setting.
Oral and Written Communication
3. Exhibit competent communication skills in both written and oral communication for lay and professional audiences in the performance of course assignments.
