Wildlife Investigation and Management Methodologies

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to a variety of methods used by wildlife biologists for the investigation and management of wildlife. Course content prepares students to observe wildlife, research wildlife literature, to rigorously apply the scientific method for problem solving, to evaluate data objectively, and to communicate research results effectively. This course is built upon principles of biodiversity, ecology, population dynamics, habitat, and conservation.
